He’s a plumber.

He makes $18.00 an hour, working on average 35 hours a week.

He lives in an apartment.  He pays $650 a month for his share of the rent. 

His cell phone bill is anywhere from $30 – 50 per month. 

His electric bill is $20 a month.  He has a car payment of $203/month.  His insurance is $95 / month.  He spends about $140 a month on gas.   He spends about $80 per trip to the grocery store and goes once a week. 

His first priority is to pay off his high interest credit card. 
He currently owes $2,500 on one of his cards.  In addition to creating the budget, develop a plan for him to pay off his credit card.

He really wants to save up for a new Truck.  He would also like to one day save up enough money to start his own business.
